DevOps Engineer Gorilla Logic is working together with our client, who is an industry leader in providing impactful mobile advertising, to help build our team of highly intelligent and capable engineers. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, working on the continuous integration and build environment as well as on their production deployment. Based in San Jose, Costa Rica this is a unique and highly technical role, requiring extensive experience with continuous integration, Amazon Web Services, networking, security, Linux and application monitoring. Desired Skills and Experience

  • Design, implement and maintain a highly scalable production web application infrastructure using Amazon Web Services
  • Design, implement and maintain a continuous integration environment
  • Deploy and maintain product releases
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for production monitoring and support
  • Architect and implement a application monitoring infrastructure
  • Work as an active participant in an Agile development environment; attend daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • 2+ years experience building and managing a continuous integration environment such as Jenkins
  • 5+ years of Linux experience including experience with shell scripting, networking, storage and release management
  • 3+ years of experience with various Amazon Web Services including experience with EC2, S3, and Route53
  • Experience with Amazon VPC, CloudFront, RDS and ELB is a big plus
  • Experience with ElasticSearch is a big plus
