Enabling our engineering teams to build and run resilient products and services is the core objective of this position who will lead the full SRE function within Scout24 global operations

What we need from you:

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Responsible for site reliability engineering at Scout24
  • Manage and develop a team of top-tier software and operations engineers at two locations
  • Consult all engineering teams on resilience and performance patterns / architecture
  • Provide tooling and frameworks to enable teams to run their products
  • Develop full stack capabilities in your team that start at the user and go down to the network layer in the context of public cloud infrastructure and physical datacenters
  • Continuously improve the delivery process of the teams through coaching, monitoring and other activities or actions that you bring to the team
  • Think automatic vs automated
  • Be proactive vs reactive
  • Building complete solutions by integrating off-the-shelf and custom tools through APIs and custom code
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Profound experience in leadership roles within engineering and internet organizations
  • Profound experience in site reliability engineering at fast moving internet organizations
  • Strategic thinker: Ability to take responsibility for the realization of corporate goals and stay on course even if others lose sight of the results
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Great communicator and you are able to articulate a vision
  • Fluency in English
