Support Analyst at Eighth Judicial Circuit Court (Gainesville, FL)
The support contractor will work with local IT staff of the other judicial circuits in the State Court System to deploy and support ICMS in their jurisdictions. This will involve tier-2 telephone support, training of technical staff, and remote support via VPN, ssh, Remote Desktop, Radmin, and other remote access methods. Primarily, contractor will be working on the Linux servers in each jurisdiction; however, since our user base typically runs Windows, some familiarity with Windows desktop is helpful, and access to a Windows-based computer is necessary, as it may be needed to duplicate problems.
Flat rate of $45/hour. Contract will run through June 30th, 2018. A contract for subsequent years will likely be offered on a year-to-year basis.
Work will be based on-site in Gainesville, Florida. Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, budgeted for 40 hour weeks, 50 weeks per year, with on-call coverage outside those times for emergencies and system administration functions that must take place outside of normal business hours.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Good working knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu or Debian a plus)
- Experience administering Apache
- High proficiency in the English language
- Knowledge of network file protocols (Samba, NFS, iSCSI)
- Experience with VMware & Hyper-V
- Experience administering MySQL
- Any PHP experience is desirable.
