Tobii Tech Platform R&D Tools is looking for a creative and dedicated person to own the build and release process for several key teams within Tobii Tech! Working in the Platform Tools team, you will be a central part in making our dreams of creating a robust, scalable and easy-to-use system for Continuous Integration/Test come true.

The role and responsibilities

As a Build & Release engineer at Tobii Tech you will be part of a virtual team of build and release engineers working towards migrating all build and release configurations in Tobii Tech to Jenkins, while improving the way we build and release in the process.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Coordinating the migration process with different teams at Tobii Tech
  • Using the power of Jenkins Pipelines to enable contiuous integration and test from hardware drivers to end user packages
  • Improving the way we build, test and release
  • Setting up physical agent pools for testing our products on real eye tracking hardware
  • Making sure that non-physical Jenkins slaves can scale on demand, using Microsoft Azure
  • Familiar with the GCC toolchain and CMake build tools
  • Experienced with one or several build management/CI systems, preferrably Jenkins
  • Experienced with Linux system administration and/or configuration tools like Ansible, Salt, etc.
  • Comfortable with various scripting languages, such as bash
  • Experienced with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other similar elastic compute services
