System & Network Engineer Needed! - 3 Years of Experience at Creative Radicals (Tampa, FL)
Creative Radicals is seeking a full-time System & Network Engineer to join our team in our Tampa, FL office. This position will work directly with the engineering and implementation teams to manage both our internal systems and customer deployments. Our ideal candidate will have a supportive, team-oriented mindset and will take the lead to ensure our IT systems are highly-available and secure. We are a small company, growing quickly, and are looking for people who enjoy working as a member of a fast-paced, agile team. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. NO REMOTE WORK FOR THIS POSITION.
Responsibilities
Desired Skills and Experience
- Deployment and management of servers on internal and customer networks
- Design, build, and deployment of high-availability hosting strategy
- Management of internal company networks and systems, including LANs, WLANs, VOIP systems, testing and training networks
- Installation, configuration, administration, and support of company software products across numerous customer deployments
- Configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of various network and server security systems
- Management of internal company systems including Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Active Directory
- Create and maintain processes, scripts, and computer programs to support systems
- Work closely with our engineering and implementation teams to support design, development, field testing, exercises, and production deployments of our products
- Additional IT responsibilities as required
- Strong Windows Server administration and configuration experience
- Hands-on experience working with virtualization hypervisors
- Solid understanding of network level system management, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs
- Experience working with relational databases, namely MySQL, including functional knowledge of SQL
- Experience working with Juniper appliances and other VPN technologies
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Linux OS (RedHat, Ubuntu, CENTOS) highly desirable
- Programming experience in Java, PHP, JavaScript, Perl, Python highly desirable
- Minimum of 3 year experience managing a Windows Domain architecture
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Military background highly desirable
- Experience working with government computer systems highly desirable
- Must be a U.S. citizen. Background check required prior to start of employment.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time including the potential for international travel
