Global Technology’s Cloud Transformation Program defines and implements JPMorgan Chase’s enterprise cloud strategy.This strategy enables a shift from specialized, dedicated infrastructure to elastic, self provisioned public and private cloud infrastructure.As part of this transformation, there is a need to identify, develop and manage the set of cloud products and services that will be leveraged by the Firm.

JP Morgan are looking for experienced engineers capable of working with clients and internal service owners to deliver these services through a fully templated approach. Working across multiple cloud service providers, the candidate will leverage cloud native technologies to provision services that meet the demands of JPMC Global Technology on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

·Working with internal service owners and clients to understand their needs with respect to cloud services

·Understanding in detail the products and services available across multiple cloud service providers

·Converting high level service capabilities in to software defined services, using templating technologies that meet defined non-functional characteristics for scalability, reliability, security, performance and cost-effectiveness.

·Building continuous integration and deployment capabilities for these templated services ensuring new service capabilities can be integrated and tested against testable non-functional capabilities on an ongoing basis.

·Engaging directly with JPMC application development teams to deliver maximum flexibility for services whilst weighing these against operational, regulatory, cyber and compliance constraints.

·Integrating the services and products with JPMC services, systems and controls

·Ongoing coaching and training of development teams in the use of the templated services to meet application requirements.

Skills & Experience

·Deep understanding of cloud products and services and cloud service provider capabilities potentially having spent time working for one the large cloud service providers

·10+ years of experience in software engineering across a broad range of technologies and platforms

·Experience of continuous integration and deployment

·Ideally experience working with “Infrastructure as Code” technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.

·Experience working within large global organizations

·Experience in delivering complex technology solutions

·Exceptional attention to detail given the criticality of the services being provisioned

·Experience of working in a matrix management model, utilizing virtual teams

·Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization

·Ability to forge strong relationships and build a wide network throughout the firm
