Building, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals. Position supports the Network Administrator.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage servers including file shares and Active Directory
  • Manage VMware backups
  • Manage, order, build, and fix workstations
  • Manage and setup printers including industrial label printers
  • Manage switches
  • Manage and setup security cameras 
  • Manage and setup IP phones and voicemail
  • After hours/weekend system updates and system troubleshooting when needed
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Server 2012
  • Expertise in computer hardware including system building
  • Proficient in Mac OSX
  • Proficient with Cisco hardware (routers, switches, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn and train on VMWare and Rockwell software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible team player 
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software and hardware technologies
  • Excellent project and time management
  • Ability to communicate ideas visually, orally, and in writing.
  • Creativity and problem solving skills
  • Microsoft, Cisco, and/or WMware Certifications
  • Minimum (2) year Associate’s Degree
  • 6 years relevant work experience
