Computational Linguist (French):

This position: We are looking for a computational linguist/NLP Engineer to help us build language models to support French.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a Linguist to assist with creation and language models necessary to support of a production level conversational AI interface/Chatbot. Ideally, the candidate should have some development skills, be familiar with NLU tuning & general messages and prompt configuration. Exposure to multiple languages or linguistic tools is a plus. You will be helping to create delightful consumer experiences making banking possible through natural language voice and text commands using our AI virtual personal assistant and Chatbots technology.

This position is for someone who can see the big picture of how an AI platform works and has a passion for NLU/NLP. You will have a major impact on our natural language understanding and generation interfaces for our next-generation multi-modal conversational AI systems that have the potential to be used by millions.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Banking / Financial services experience is a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience working with NLU/NLP Technology
  • Bachelors or Masters in Linguistics, Computational Linguists or Computer Science
  • Experience with statistical language modeling
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Coding skills in Python or Java preferred
  • Fluency in French
