- Understanding industry best practices, JPMC policies and standards, and the Merchant Services operating environment.
- Provide effective production and escalation support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer dialogue.
- Monitoring and maintaining application performance, service level SLAs, and related infrastructure components and plugins.
- Planning, testing, and supporting the promotion of changes into the production environment and completing quality review of all implemented changes.
- Completing all daily, weekly, and monthly operational and runbook tasks.
- Participation in key initiatives and discussions with peers, auditors, and management as the Merchant Services application SME.
- Periodic testing of application disaster recovery procedures and initiating the recovery process if needed.
- Initiating and/or managing engagements with CyberArk Support, internal IT teams, and service customers.
- Maintaining and updating the team’s knowledge base, documentation, and end user guides.
- Identifying ways to mitigate risks, improve performance, practices, and procedures.
- Providing cross-functional support as needed for areas assigned to other members of the team.
- Participating in a 24 x 7 On-Call monthly rotation.
- Minimum 5 years general experience with maintaining, deploying, configuring Windows Server 2008 or higher servers.
- Minimum 3 years experience in planning, deployment, and support of ”IT to IT” applications or IT infrastructure tools.
- Strong understanding or proficiency in the following related technical areas: client authentication and access protocols (Telnet, SSH, SSH w/Shared Keys, SSL, RADIUS, KERBEROS, NTLM, RPC, etc.), Firewall Rules, data or file system encryption, ODBC components, Linux/Unix CLI and shell commands, Microsoft Clustering, SAN Clients, DNS, IIS, Active Directory Domain Services, CLI automation tools/PowerShell, enterprise class networks, MS SQL databases, and T-SQL query language.
- Minimum 1 year experience with installing, upgrading, or configuring CyberArk EPV 9.x or a comparable security and password management solution.
- Fundamental understanding of Microsoft based ETL processes and tools including MS SQL Server, SSIS, Bulk copy tool (BCP), Data Transformation Services (DTS), and basic data analysis methods.
- Experience with the using following firm wide tools: Service Manager (Resolver), ITSM, JIRA, TAMS, REACT, ITRC, RSAM (Resolver queue, ID-Owner, IO Console), Request Center (Resolver),
- Effective problem solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to review, understand, and rely on technical and software documentation and apply that knowledge into practice.
- Experience supporting mission critical or continuously availability Windows Server based solutions.
- Experienced with developing and maintaining scripts used for Control-M workload automation.
- Experience operating in environments that are heavily governed under compliance , regulatory, or risk reduction controls.
- Experience supporting application services distributed across secure network environments, over a Wide Area Network, behind or between firewall controlled network zones, and across multiple Active Directory security domains.
- Experience with configuring some or all of the following technologies: server virtualization and hypervisors, Microsoft Cluster Service, Windows Firewall, Network Load Balancers
- Advanced understanding of performance, monitoring, capacity, and disaster recovery planning.
- Advanced understanding of best practices and JPMC, GTI, and CCB policies.
- Familiar with the installation and configuration of software products on Unix/Linux platforms
- Experience with writing technical schematics for publication internally and maintaining a knowledge base.
- Demonstrates an understanding of process-focused methodologies that structure IT related activities (Change Management, Incident Management, SDLC ).
- Firm understanding of Cyber and Information Security concepts and threat prevention.
- Detail-oriented self starter with strong conceptual, analytical, decision making and planning skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates an ability to interact with technical, non-technical, and business members of the organization.
