We service clients from a wide range of industries including fashion, healthcare, construction, disability services as well as technology startups. We value good design and creativity above all else, both aesthetically and in our code. Our developers are all multi-skilled, working across a wide range of projects and technologies, and are expected to take ownership of projects and see them through from application design through to implementation and launch. They liaise closely with our designers and are able to effectively implement their vision and communicate any limitations or opportunities with the technology at hand.

We are seeking a creatively minded full stack developer to join our team for a 3 month freelance contract, with a possibility of a full time role for the right person.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Backend development experience using PHP and/or Ruby including CMS framework experience (Wordpress / Laravel / Rails)
  • Frontend development experience including Javascript libraries such as jQuery and React
  • Experience in e-commerce frameworks such as Magento2 and Spree Commerce for Rails
  • Some experience in DevOps, or a willingness to learn
  • Good interpersonal skills and a friendly nature
  • An appreciation for good design and an understanding of how to implement it with good code
  • A love of creating, building, problem solving, and learning
