Desired Skills and Experience
- As a seasoned SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for managing Server Performance, Diagnostics, and AppMgr. TaskMgmt / UserMgmt / etc as needed and in ArchMgmt at times.
- Solid experience in SQL DBA tuning / development work to scale higher and have some ideas but requires back and front end work.
- Experience in UserMgmt to have local expertise, Server Performance, etc - expand to more areas.
- Basic knowledge of WIA, and some development in SCGs to understand the dev process.
- Bang for the buck is his knowledge of SQL Server and to use its power to monitor things at the SQL Server level and notify our application when issues are identified that need action and alert accordingly, instead of building this new monitoring functionality directly into our application.
- Should be able to review data models (new and changes) like bad data model design, column data type, data format, etc choices.
- ï· SQL Server environments (2014 - SQL version 7)
