Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with database technologies, MS SQL Server, MongoDB or other DBMS required. Previous development background in .NET or Java desired
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Technology required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Automation required
- Prior experience with Continuous Integration systems highly preferred
- Prior experience with networking and Windows system administration preferred
- Prior experience with Windows Powershell DSC, Puppet, or Chef preferred
- Prior experience with database design and technologies, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, RavenDB or other DBMS required
- Prior experience with design patterns and application preferred
- Prior experience working on teams using Agile methodologies preferred
- Prior experience with VMWare vRealize Operations and vRealize Automation preferred
- Develop repeatable tools and processes for automation, configuration, monitoring, and alerting.
- Develops automation and tooling to streamline deployment and operations procedures
- Adhere to coding and design standards and best practices around development processes, coding, and peer reviews
- Optimize and extend existing configuration management tools
- Evaluate new applications and tools and provide recommendations on solutions
- Help lead and drive development of key system infrastructure automation initiatives
- Provide assistance to IT, CM, QA and support personnel as needed to troubleshoot lower environment as well as production issues.
