Desired Skills and Experience
- Perform application testing for the various Crate and Barrel systems throughout the software development life cycle (daily maintenance and larger enhancement projects).
- Work with project teams to develop testing objectives and overall testing approaches.
- Develop test plans and test scenarios.
- Execute the test plans and record results.
- Provide timely and accurate testing statuses.
- Create test plans to validate system requirements and functionality.
- Document testing results and User Functionality Guides.
- Work with Development Teams and End Users to ensure all requirements have been met.
- Meet all assigned/agreed-on target dates for enhanced projects as well as individual tasks (maintenance).
- Completion of BA / BS program or equivalent
- 1-2 years of systems and/or Quality Assurance
- Experience testing database and transactional applications
- Knowledge of relational databases, Query and SQL a plus
- AS/400 or iSeries experience a plus
- Ability to communicate and self motivate effectively
- Ability to meet deadlines and to pay attention to details
- Good reading, written and verbal language skills (English)
