Desired Skills and Experience
- Build advanced applications for the Locafox Retail Services (POS) native Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and API’s
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- You are living the start-up spirit: agile, driven and a team-player
- You have an university degree in engineering or equivalent field

- 3 years of proven working experience in Native Android development
- You have hands-on experience with Material Design
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Proven experience regarding release management to the Google Play store.
- Good understanding and feel of UX and Usability
- Background working with transactional based systems, preferably within finance, payments or banking.
- Background with various tracking concepts and principles related to Android applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- You can speak and write in English, German is a plus
