- Apply and share technical expertise during incident management life cycle (e.g. analyzes reports and outages, perform impact assessments, facilitate stakeholder communication).
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Sciences, Applied Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong skills in Java design, development and J2EE Standards/Specification
- Strong skills in IBM WebSphere Application Server (v7/8), IHS HTTP Server and WAS HTTP - Plugin configuration
- 7+ years of design experience for Java/Oracle technology stack
- Significant experience & demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of database programming on Oracle SQL /PL/SQL and/or related technologies that encapsulate SQL, including Cursors, Ref-cursors, Procedures, Functions and Packages, Oracle Supplied Packages, Collections, Partitioned Tables, Triggers, Table Indexing
- Experience in Query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Advanced and extensive knowledge of the business (or organization), technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages and operating systems.
- Readiness and motivation (as senior or lead developer and valued subject matter expert) to address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues, often independently.
- Strength in coaching and advising clients, partners and project teams.
- Commitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverables.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure domain technologies would be an asset (e.g. TIBCO, Cloud Blueprint Deployment, EBX, Unix Shell scripting)
- Knowledge of software delivery methodologies, processes, and ALM tools of trade
- Demonstrated ability to grasp and translate technical concepts, think independently, and take the initiative required to resolve issues in a team structure
