Desired Skills and Experience
- Support of critical trading applications within a distributed multi-server environment
- Provide trade floor support working directly with traders
- Coordinate UAT and handle production software releases
- Work closely with Operations and Development teams
- Develop scripts and other tools to support our trading systems operations as required
- Follow IT policies and procedures as set forth by the management
- Be involved in some after- hours support and testing if needed
- Give and receive constructive feedback
- Play an active role in your team’s growth and results
- University Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Strong interest in the finance industry and capital markets
- 2+ years of experience in Front Office Trading Support
- Linux experience a strong plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus (preferably Python, PERL and PHP)
- Understanding of System Infrastructure
- Good technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills under pressure
- Proactive, highly motivated, team spirit, forward thinking
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in both spoken and written English is a must
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) is a definite advantage
