Desired Skills and Experience

  • Support of critical trading applications within a distributed multi-server environment
  • Provide trade floor support working directly with traders
  • Coordinate UAT and handle production software releases
  • Work closely with Operations and Development teams
  • Develop scripts and other tools to support our trading systems operations as required
  • Follow IT policies and procedures as set forth by the management
  • Be involved in some after- hours support and testing if needed
  • Give and receive constructive feedback
  • Play an active role in your team’s growth and results
  • University Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in the finance industry and capital markets
  • 2+ years of experience in Front Office Trading Support
  • Linux experience a strong plus
  • Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus (preferably Python, PERL and PHP)
  • Understanding of System Infrastructure
  • Good technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills under pressure
  • Proactive, highly motivated, team spirit, forward thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in both spoken and written English is a must
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) is a definite advantage
