Desired Skills and Experience
- Lead holistic reviews of customer environments, hardware, software, services, and applications for eventual customer deployments
- Lead the team in working with Fractal Solutions Architects to develop a deployment strategy
- Work directly with customers and support teams to review proposed architectures for integrations and implementations
- Support AWS-based services for production including web applications and data analytic services
- Coordinate implementation and continuous improvement of security posture and operations with DevOps and Cyber Operations teams
- Automate and streamline deployment operations and processes
- Work collaboratively across teams and interacting directly with client project team members and operational staff
- Identify and incorporate open source info-sec tools into Fractal’s Advanced Cyber Decision Platform products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments
- Support on-premise software deployments and client integration security considerations
- Support non-AWS cloud deployments
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and value creation
- Understand client needs, competitive landscape, latest technology trends, and use information for product roadmap and development cycles
- Partner with Cyber Operations teams deliver seamless infrastructure services to clients
- Strong background in Windows, Linux/Unix, DCOS, Mesos, TCP/IP, network engineering and micro-services
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in a computer science or a related technical discipline
- 4-7 years of relevant professional experience directly related to deployment services and network operations
- Experience leading people and work with large enterprises and critical infrastructure
- Significant knowledge of networks and security monitoring tools
- Experience interacting with senior level management and executives
- Communication and collaboration skills to participate and shape the architecture, high level designs and detailed designs of systems
- Proficient working with various Infrastructure tools/technologies such as SCCM, GPO, Active Directory/Kerberos
- Expertise in Python, C, C++, Powershell, Bash, etc…
- Expertise in deployment scenarios, on-prem and cloud-based
- Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues
- Excellent understanding of the continuous integration practice
- Strong quality assurance background including system level and integration level testing
- Expertise in specifying and implementing testing and production environment infrastructure
- Expertise with setup, scripting, creating regression test suites and troubleshooting automated testing products and environments
- Experience and interest in security considerations for large-scale distributed systems, API-driven services, and API vulnerability assessment
- Interest/experience in DevOps and deployment challenges associated with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Mesosphere
- Experience reviewing and interpreting security policies and procedures for operational feasibility and technical sensibility
- Experience with incident response / business continuity / disaster recovery methodologies
- Experience with designing and implementing performance metrics to represent security posture, performance and investment priorities and overall risk exposure
