Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience with DevOps or related field
- Expertise with Amazon Web Services and cloud computing best practices
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
- Experience implementing continuous integration and deployment systems
- Understanding of Python and automation libraries
- Capable of translating results into business recommendations
- Experience with automated monitoring systems and technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Familiar with Docker
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture: Databases (i.e. SQL and NoSQL), Caches, Queues, Load Balances
- Understanding of industry standard best practices
- Experience in a startup and growth-stage environments
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and sensitive to the needs of a small and rapidly growing company
- Self-starter who is excited about technology and able to work effectively independently or in a team setting
