Desired Skills and Experience
- Write code to implement new features and improve performance
- Actively participate and contribute to the design process
- Capable of immediately contributing to the team
- Document new features and associated test scenarios for other teams and stakeholders including the quality assurance and production support groups
- Able to analyze data to identify potential issues
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Java programming on low latency systems.
- Experience with communication protocols and low latency systems
- Experience working on complex distributed information systems projects.
- Experience with Linux.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Working operational knowledge of an ATS and / or equities trading platform
- Strong scripting skills (python and/or perl)
- Strong background in unit and performance testing techniques.
