Desired Skills and Experience
- Provision, test, and monitor our globally-distributed, high-availability, compute infrastructure
- Extend our in-house infrastructure with cloud-compute resources
- Design and implement SD WAN for our global compute network
- Design and optimize our network storage infrastructure
- 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Developer/Administrator
- Netapp storage administration and management
- Networking (Cisco, Arista), including routers, firewalls, switches
- Configuration management (we use Ansible)
- Infrastructure monitoring
- Virtualization (we use RHEV and VMware)
- Knowledge of Python is a big plus
- Loves to build bulletproof infrastructure - both software and hardware
- Enjoys learning and acquiring knowledge - quickly and independently
- Dislikes complexity and strives to find simple and elegant solutions
