Desired Skills and Experience

  • Manage the day-to-day and strategic technical activities of your team and guide them towards the delivery of key product offerings and enhancements for our supporting Business Systems and flagship product line integrations
  • Work closely with the Product Owners, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Production, and Business Analysts for understanding the system’s functional and non-functional requirements
  • Manage external vendor deliverables and coordinate their activities with internal development efforts
  • Help define and support new and existing business processes related to IT
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship between Engineering and key business stakeholders
  • Ensure timely day-to-day support of our business operations needs
  • Work with Senior Management and staff to accomplish business goals, develop standards, best practices, and technical processes
  • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development. Responsible for your staff and their success and for the success of the group as a whole
  • Expertise in implementing CRM and ERP platforms
  • Experience in supporting Production and/or Customer Operations functions
  • A strong understanding with integrating hosted Billing solutions
  • Minimum of 3 years of management/ leadership experience in a software development organization required
  • Must have at least 5 years experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software
  • Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Strong fundamental understanding of SDLC and associated best practices
  • Previous history of software development
  • Expertise with Agile Scrum development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Able to multi-task and manage several projects
  • Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills, critical thinker with excellent judgment and initiative
  • Self-motivated, team player, action/results oriented

  • Aviation or telecommunications background is a plus
