Desired Skills and Experience

  • Developing cryptographic algorithms on embedded controller considering the balance between code size / performance and maintainability
  • Testing, debugging and optimizing software on Infineon’s Security Devices
  • Implementing test cases for automated regression testing
  • Executing threat modeling, code reviews and documentation
  • Working in a very integrated multinational team, supporting each other even to level of working together on the same code base (pair-programming) to ensure excellent results that comply with highest security standards
  • A University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or a similar field of focus
  • Substantial knowledge, e.g. on differential side-channel attacks (DPA), differential fault attacks (DFA) and probing attacks, as well as experience with the corresponding state-of-the art countermeasures
  • As an ideal candidate very good mathematical skills to understand and implement complex cryptographic contexts
  • Know-how in embedded microcontroller programming (e.g. ARM Cortex) and you are experienced in C-programming
  • Experience with security measures in microcontrollers
  • Experience with circuit design and/or cryptography
  • Fluency English, German is an asset
