- We influence the technical direction for the product. We want to remain at the forefront of the technological landscape, and regularly evaluate and adopt new, promising technology where it can make a positive difference for our teams and customers.
- A team player. We’re a small team that relies on strong communication and passion for education to share knowledge and vision inside and outside the team.
- Strong technical skills. We use a combination of Ruby, JavaScript, and Clojure to craft world-class solutions, and have a strong code review culture that encourages excellence and personal development.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Previous experience with AWS is also strongly preferred.
- A growth mindset. The technology landscape is constantly changing, and we want someone who is excited by that and eager to continue learning.
- Collaboration skills. We regularly meet with product/program management, QA, and UI/UX to coordinate sweeping improvements and additions to the platform.
- BS or greater in computer science preferred, but not required.
