• basic understanding of linux (unix) architecture and linux (unix) programming
• good knowledge of linux (bash) command line
• at least some linux administration skills (installing packages, restarting services)
• a good knowledge of C, C++11
• experience with GStreamer
• experience with automated testing (unittests)
• experience with (distributed) version control (Mercurial, GIT, SVN, …)
• at least some experience with HTML and Javascript
• some experience with SQL, postgres
