  • Assist software and network engineers, system and database administrators, and product managers with assessing security threats, identifying and tailoring security requirements and integrating security controls into the Product / Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Ensure the implementation of a secure build integration process; secure source code repositories practices and code escrow process
  • Ensure WAF protection and implementation are in place and responsible for maintaining rules, monitoring alerts and ensuring appropriate actions are taken
  • Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates
  • Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards
  • Verifies security systems by developing and implementing test scripts
  • Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs
  • Upgrade security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements
  • Serves as the security architecture expert for the security functional areas across the organization and with 3rd-parties
  • Performs architecture risk analysis for existing systems, new acquisitions, identifies gaps and provides feedback for advancing enterprise security capabilities
  • Integrates security activities into projects or programs development lifecycle, ensures security activities are aligned with schedules and understands how to make win-win decisions between security and functionality
  • Lead the Security development effort to build secure applications to ensure key business and regulatory requirements are delivered.  Staying abreast of current and emerging technologies, and applying security best practices and technical expertise to create best-in-class Secure System Architecture
  • Drive secure application delivery through automated and manual application security testing
  • Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation
  • Leads or participates in setting the System Architectural strategy and defining the architecture roadmap
  • Leads or participates in the creation of application solution designs
  • Reviews work of other team members and mentor junior analysts as needed
