Desired Skills and Experience
- Create a web application, as part of our software product, for data visualization, monitoring and configuration
- Build REST APIs and micro services
- Build and maintain tools to automate the provisioning, deployment and monitoring of our infrastructure
- Contribute to the building of fast, robust and scalable data-processing pipelines
- Take part in designing data base schemas, setup and maintain data bases
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to continuously implement and improve features, following an agile and test-driven approach
- Proven experience (3+ years) as Python Backend Developer
- You are experienced with web frameworks (Django), provisioning tools (Jenkins), cloud services (Azure, AWS) and container technology (Docker)
- You have some experience in frontend development
- You feel comfortable with Linux system administration and networking
- Ideally you have some experience with large scale data processing (Spark / Scala)
- Experience with serverless architecture is a plus
- You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills
