Desired Skills and Experience
- Design high-performing security solutions solutions for our greenfield global e-commerce platform.
- Play a key role supporting the global mobile application containing the most value in North America outside of traditional mobile banking applications.
- Code solutions in Golang (or other modern languages) related to security, initially on our container-ized Web Application Firewall solution (Signal Sciences).
- Continuously help make our solutions “PCI-proof” (If you’ve worked through a PCI audit in the past, even better!)
- Develop secure solutions for the United Platform Team to improve self-service across the enterprise using an AWS “Cloud First” approach.
- Help team members to recognize “why” security controls are important to lessen enterprise risks.
- Conduct security monitoring across all platforms to ensure availability and operational steadiness of critical systems.
- Past work implementing system configurations and baselines to support secure application development software control best practices and standards.
- Basic knowledge of Information Security with experience in the fields of network security, endpoint security, identity management, access control, cloud security and/or cryptography.
- Experience implementing and managing high capacity, redundant, and mission critical environments.
