  • Accomplishes departmental goals by communicating expectations, planning monitoring, and appraising results, and coaching and developing staff.
  • Design and configure Information Technology related hardware, software, and infrastructure to meet corporate growth requirements.
  • Perform troubleshooting; technical support; and maintenance of server operating systems, applications and hardware.
  • Resolves elevated Help Desk incidents, change management requests, or problem tickets as assigned.
  • Design and configure Information Technology related hardware, software, and Infrastructure to meet corporate growth requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain technical solutions based on business and end-user requirements, using established change control process.
  • Perform preventative maintenance including backups and patching of all IT systems as required.
  • Conduct or assist with technical and business analysis of new products or create system specifications to select new products.
  • On call and after hours support of Systems and Infrastructure. Other job duties when expected
  • A minimum of 5 years supporting an enterprise computer environment.
  • Extensive working knowledge of PCs, Servers, Operating Systems, Active Directory, Backups, VMware, SharePoint, Exchange, Citrix, scripting (VBS, PowerShell) and network communication protocols including TCP/IP
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing direct reports preferred
  • VMware administration
  • Storage (SAN, NAS, DAS) experience preferred
  • System security best practices
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex systems problems
  • Plans, documents, and tests upgrades, patches and backup/recovery plans for systems infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft best practices frameworks (Active Directory, Group Policy, Scripting, Exchange Server, etc.)
  • Develop documentation of systems, policies and procedures
  • Project management skills
