- Installation, architecture, and configuration of MS SQL 2014 & 2016.
- Proactive and reactive performance tuning.
- Participation in ongoing SQL development projects.
- Physical data modelling.
- Development of automation and scripts to perform proactive maintenance.
- Participate in 24/7 operations via on call rotation schedule.
- Backup and recovery.
- Provide guidance to engineers, architects and additional team members.
- Knowledge of deployments and source control.
- Documentation skills for processes and procedures.
- Perform basic to advance routine dba activities & service request.
- Able to determine an effective way to increase performance.
- Four or more years of current administration experience in MS SQL Server.
- Must possess advanced SQL skills.
- Proficiency in TSQL.
- Knowledge in storage, servers, operating systems and application interaction.
- A sense of ownership, initiative and drive.
- Team player with a get it done attitude.
- Passion for Rockstar Games is a plus.
