Desired Skills and Experience
- Working on maintenance and improvement of current infrastructure
- Design, provision, test and deploy new clusters, POPs or datacentres
- Monitor, investigate and troubleshoot production issues at worldwide scale
- Monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes
- Ideal candidate will have a very strong background in Linux administration
- Masters / Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- Deep understanding and experience with networks, high-availability and scaling
- Good scripting skills (python, bash, ruby)
- Experience with configuration management (puppet, ansible) and source code management (GIT)
- Experience with web servers/reverse proxies (nginx/nginx+, haproxy, apache2, tomcat)
- Knowledge of monitoring and graphing tools (riemann, icinga, graphite, grafana)
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (mysql, couchbase, redis, memcached, redshift,dynamodb, mongodb, …)
- Experience or knowledge of ELK stack, kafka, consul, zookeeper is a plus
- Experience with cloud (AWS, Rackspace, Softlayer, GCE) is a plus
- Experience with SIP and media proxies (kamailio, rtpengine) and telephony platforms (asterisk,freeswitch, voxeo) is a plus
- Knowledge of voice protocols (SIP, SIPS, RTP, SRTP,SDP) is a plus
- Experience with VoiceXML and CCXML is a plus
- Ability and willingness to work in a global, fast-paced environment
- Flexible with the ability to adapt working style to meet objectives
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
