Desired Skills and Experience

  • Building and running small to mid-sized engineering teams in a rapidly growing environment (5+ years of experience)
  • Coordinating high profile customer escalations, including production down and potential data loss scenarios
  • Collaborating with other internal departments, particularly engineering and product management
  • Remaining calm under pressure, and communicating effectively with both customers and internal resources
  • Diagnostic troubleshooting of technical issues of all kinds
  • Lead a team of 6 direct reports (and growing) in solving challenging technical problems. This includes managing your team’s workflow, assisting on hands-on customer issues, and managing both internal and external escalations
  • Grow this team, including coordinating, mentoring, and actively recruiting new members. Perform resume reviews, phone screens, and in-person interviews, make hiring decisions, run local team meetings, and provide regular mentoring and guidance to their team
  • Interface with the various departments and represent the Technical Services team in those interactions, being an advocate for our customers and for our company’s success
  • Contribute to global projects, which can include various aspects of program management including process, automation, and tooling
