Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Information Technology preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of current industry protocols, standards/ best practices and technologies for end device management including mobility.
  • 3 years of experience in developing strategy for desktop environments.
  • 3 years of experience developing enterprise level workstation images.
  • 5 years of experience installing, configuring, automating, and managing Windows Operating Systems (XP, 7, 8, and/or 10), Microsoft Office Suite (2007, 2013 and/or 365), and Internet Explorer 11.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and enabling configuration management with Group Policy Objects (GPO) as they relate to the desktop.
  • Strong experience with scripting technologies such as VBScript, PowerShell or AutoIT Script.
  • Demonstrated experience in Client Lifecycle management tools (i.e. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Symantec Altiris, or Landesk) with application packaging, asset reporting, and patch management.
  • Strong experience in virtualization of desktops (i.e. VMware View, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft RDS) and virtualization of applications (i.e. VMware ThinApp, Citrix XenApp, MS App-V).
