Desired Skills and Experience
- Operate, maintain and develop company LAN, including server hardware, operating systems, network administration tools, network systems and routers
- Support company desktop platforms – mixture of Windows and Mac platforms
- Administer Active directory, creation and deletion of user accounts and associated group policies
- Maintain high levels of data security through management of passwords and encryption controls
- Liaise with IT Hosting partners to effectively manage database servers and environments
- Oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover of databases
- Knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop environments – Windows (Desktop and Server operating systems), Active Directory; Office 365, and Mac OSX desktop
- An ability to problem solve quickly and proven time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
