- At least 5 years professional experience in a backend / DevOps role
- Experience monitoring the health of EC2 environments, AWS services and customized applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent discipline and experience.
- Experience in design and implementation on AWS infrastructure with AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk and S3.
- Monitoring suite experience.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking including monitoring, routing and switching, WAN to WAN, VLANs, VPN tunnels.
- A balanced view on delivery of solutions between network architecture, time, cost and quality and be able to communicate effectively to non-technical audiences and stakeholders
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Experience in programming, including experience with Java, Python and Javascript
- Experience in setting up Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Load Balancing and Auto Scaling.
