Desired Skills and Experience
- Contribute code, code reviews, and otherwise participate in the sprint cycle with the MaaS product development team.
- Define and implement monitors and metrics to help the team understand and optimize the performance, availability and reliability of the product.
- Provide operational support for the product and look for lessons that will help us improve the product for customers.
- Mentor other team members on new technology and approaches as part of a team engaged in continuous learning.
- 5+ years experience with Linux systems administration, including in-depth knowledge of bare metal provisioning via tools like Foreman or Ironic.
- 2+ years development experience with a language like Python, Rust or Go.
- Understanding of fundamental L2/L3 networking
- Experience with modern Infrastructure as Code tools such as source control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with microservice and cloud-native architectures and an understanding of design principles for scalability, performance, and reliability
