- autonomous planning and implementation of project-specific requirements
- realisation of administrative IT tasks (installation and configuration of servers, monitoring, service, documentation, technical support, cluster management)
- testing and approval of server software
- load testing, monitoring, reporting
- Business Informatics/Computer Science degree (Bachelor) or similar qualification, entrants welcome - candidates with non-university training in the field and several years of work experience are likewise invited to apply.
- sound knowledge and certification of experience in working with the administration of Linux servers in highly available environments
- knowledge in virtualisation solutions servers
- knowledge in the area of monitoring and load tests of server software
- sound knowledge of common webhosting software (Apache, PHP, mySQL)
- preferably experience with replication of mySQL databases
- ability to schedule working hours corresponding to maintenance times
