Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2 years prior experience working in technical support, customer service, data center operations or other related fields
  • Experience with transactional gateways is highly preferred along with payments processing knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills required to resolve issues and problems
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple assignments, have excellent follow through
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to follow processes and have high personal performance standards and accountability
  • Ability to work any schedule needed in a 24/7/365 day technical support operation. This position will also be required to have on call shifts on a rotating basis.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or qualified experience, in a field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Information Technology discipline.
  • Understanding and using Windows Server 2003/r2
  • Understanding and Using Windows Server 2008/r2
  • How to RDP and what is effected by how you RDP (Console/normal session)
  • Ability to Start and stop windows services
  • Ability to start and stop Windows Schedule Tasks
  • Understanding and using IIS6
  • Understanding and using IIS7/7.5
  • Understanding/reading web.conf files
  • Understanding DB infrastructure
  • Understanding and use of VMWare
  • Understanding and use of Cisco VPN
  • Understanding / Troubleshooting of Browsers from IE8-10, Firefox, Chrome, Safari
  • Understanding of SSL certificates and proper Use.
  • Password Security (complexity)
  • Understanding and use of Active Directory 2k3/2k8
  • Understanding of uses of/for UNC
  • Understanding and use File structures/Permissions
