Desired Skills and Experience

Build and configure new secure server platforms and the automated tooling to do so.
Maintain existing infrastructure and suggest improvements.
Have a good knowledge of modern web protocols and security standards.
You’ll be a continual learner, keeping up to date with modern infrastructure tools and techniques.
Contribute to the WebOps community of practise by sharing knowledge and skills.
Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure or similar
Experience using configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef
Experience debugging a complex, multi-server service in a high availability environment
Administering common databases like MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, RavenDB
Familiarity with network protocols – TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, etc
An understanding of application deployment strategies, continuous integration and version control
Operational management of Window servers, delivering a complex web application stack
Operational management of Linux servers, delivering a complex web application stack.
Knowledge of container orchestration systems and minimalist operating systems.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions.
