Desired Skills and Experience
- Partner with Operations and Finance stakeholders to determine the metrics needed to manage their functions and ensure the global alignment of our data management processes
- Troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and take corrective action where needed
- Clearly put forward investigation results to technical / non-technical team members.
- Engage with administrators, operational support staff and end-users to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with other developers and testers to ensure stability and consistency throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Ensure that code releases are safe, stable and can be deployed (or rolled back if required) with minimal impact
- Work side by side with Architecture and Development to ensure alignment and integration
- Maintain high quality standards and best practice across database architecture in the company
- 1+ years’ Database Engineering/Administration experience
- Experience working with SQL Server 2014/ 2016
- Good knowledge of T-SQL programming and code optimisation
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work autonomously
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluent in English
