  • Uphold and embody Buildit’s core values and principles - trust, autonomy, transparency, openness of communication, diversity, and a hands-on attitude 
  • Ensure realisation of ‘The Deal’ i.e. individual development, community contribution, and adherence to Buildit’s utilisation principles which supports dedicated time for learning and self development in addition to learning when on client engagements. 
  • We are global so you will be requested to travel for client engagements, pre-sales and internal meetings. 
  • Staffing
  • Ensure the existence of required roles for the effective operation and continuous evolution of the studio.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management function to attract, retain and develop the right talent.
  • Operations
  • Ensure studio’s alignment to the Buildit business plan
  • Ensure maintenance of studio level financial discipline
  • Collaboration
  • with tribes and Buildit global studios, wider organisation and subsidiaries.
  • studio contribution to Buildit’s public face (meet ups, conferences, blogs)
  • Balance support for relevant pre-sales activity with client and internal demand
  • Manage ‘interference’ and ‘noise’ unrelated to our core mission
  • Work with the Head of Buildit and other studio leads to ensure the health and cohesiveness of Buildit, its people and shared ethos.
  • Do you love technology and follow its evolution and impact on society, industry and mankind? 
  • Experience in demand planning, hiring and setting up a cross functional team of engineers, creative technologists and transformation leads.
  • Can you derive your satisfaction from fostering an amazing team culture and thrive inside that team as an egoless peer?
  • Are you experienced in managing teams and/or setting up communities of excellence to allow for continuous improvement ?
  • Experience in coaching, counselling and mentoring would be beneficial.
  • Do you encourage emergent leadership and seek out every opportunity to remove impediments (internal, external or whatsoever) for your teams so teams focus on value creation?
  • Have you applied Design thinking, Agile methodology and DevOps practices in transformation engagements you have led?
  • Do you share problems, as well as victories, and believe that fostering an environment of openness, transparency and fairness is the best way to keep a customer satisfied and deliver disruptive innovation?
  • Do you have experience in digital transformation? Can you negotiate with players at all levels and influence business leaders to prioritise agility over efficiency?
  • Do you have a proven track record of successfully delivering programs of work, whilst maintaining a strong relationship with all parties?
