- Manage our hardware infrastructure and backup and storage strategies
- Work with all team members to ensure continuous and timely delivery
- Educate all dev team members in the art of containerization
- Produce meaningful metrics to demonstrate the current state of our infrastructure, and alerting tools for all issues
- Meaningful experience in high growth, rapidly scaling environments & international cross time-zone teams
- Extensive knowledge of Amazon AWS and co-location
- Experience of big data infrastructures
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- Experience designing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment workflows
- Experience with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Experience with systems and IT operations, and in engineering systems
- Experience of big data infrastructures (Splunk, ElasticSearch)
- Good knowledge of Docker and containerization strategies
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- code and scripting skills
