Front End Application Developer at Solutions by Design II (Herndon, VA)
Desired Skills and Experience
- Design and develop scalable solutions for maintaining the agency user system.
- Implement solutions within the established UI/US development standards across the organization and work closely with business users to translate requirements into design.
- Must be able to provide application developmental skills (and if possible, records management policy expertise) to support the O&M and modernization of the agency user system component of the application.
- Research, analyze, design and develop updates the agency user system.
- Engineer software solutions with advanced database and web development tools to solve management, regulatory and user functional requirements.
- Provide O/M of the production system as the 3rd tier production support.
- 4 years experience with web application development
- 2+ years experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember preferred)
2+ years experience with Angular (can be a substitute if no Ember experience)
- 2+ years experience with Angular (can be a substitute if no Ember experience)
- 2+ years experience developing RESTful Web services (Spring framework preferred)
- 2+ years experience developing following an Agile SDLC, using tools such as JIRA, BitBucket, etc.
- 1+ years experience with Alfresco RM
- Experience with front–end user interface development, including translating requirements into code and implementing mockups
- Experience with HTML and CSS, including cross–browser compatibility, responsive Web design, Bootstrap, CSS preprocessors, such as Sass or LESS, and frameworks or libraries
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, including Mocha, Chai, or Jest
- Excellent communication skills
- US Citizenship is required
- 2+ years experience with AWS environments
- 1+ years experience with Elasticsearch
- 1+ years experience with PostgreSQL
- 1+ years experience with Documentum
- Experience with browser-based development and debugging tools
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
