Desired Skills and Experience
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 12 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Unix and/or Linux
- Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycles
- Willingness and ability to learn new development languages and techniques
- Strong software development skills and demonstrated experience in languages such as Python, Perl, C/C++, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience working with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
- Experience working with one or more databases such as Postgres, Mongo, SQL, etc.
- Experience with version control systems
- Demonstrated experience using REST/SOAP/XML or other API
- Knowledge of configuration management software such as Salt, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
- Experience with at least one web framework
- SANS Certifications, ideally GCIH, GCFE, GREM, GCFA
- Understanding of IDS & IPS technologies, both signature and behavior based
- Advanced knowledge of Host Forensics, Malware Reverse Engineering, or Network Forensics
