- Administration of the UNIX / Linux server systems
- Maintenance of the storage systems, as well as the network components
- Automation of the administrative processes in the system landscape
- Conception and implementation of new powerful infrastructure
- Very good knowledge of and professional experience with UNIX systems; ideally x86/Linux and x86/Solaris
- Profound knowledge in the standard web applications and languages, especially Apache, MySQL, Postfix, etc.
- Good programming experience in Perl and shell scripting in the context of automation of system administrative tasks
- Profound knowledge in the field of TCP/IP networking, internet protocols and internet domain systems
- Good knowledge in the use of databases, especially MySQL, Postgres, optionally Oracle
- Ideally several years of experience in the field of ISPs
- Open to flexible working hours
- Fluent in written and verbal German and English
