Desired Skills and Experience
- Migration of our dockerized services to Kubernetes environment
- Infrastructure monitoring with Newrelic, Nagios, and introduction of new monitoring tools
- Automation of development related activities (deployment, testing)
- Research and application of cutting edge technologies
- Improvement of security related components
- Server provisioning in IAAS environment
- Participation in daily Scrum activities
- Deep knowledge about both Debian and RedHat based *nix systems administration
- Profound experience with Docker
- Experience with container orchestration tools (preferably Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools (preferably Jenkins)
- Experience with load balancing tools (HAProxy, Nginx)
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring concepts (experience in microservice monitoring is a big plus)
- Strong knowledge of server security concepts
- Knowledge of laws and regulations concerning data privacy and security in Europe is a big plus
- Knowledge about hosting and scaling of LAMP-backed applications is a big plus
- Ability to work independently in a result-oriented way
- Willing to relocate to Munich permanently
