  • Troubleshoot and resolve Support Tickets as prioritized by the Platform Captains
  • Perform service restarts on servers
  • Analyze system logs for troubleshooting and identifying system improvements
  • Provide internal, cross-functional communication with Cardinal Customer Service(s) and production engineering to provide updates
  • Escalate issues internally as needed
  • Open support tickets with third party vendor
  • Assist with audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines
  • Provide support for Infrastructure systems such as server maintenance, storage, networking, database administration, network security, messaging, directory services, server virtualization, monitoring, etc.
  • Compose internal documentation with direct oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configuration
  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems
  • Ensures Systems’ uptime and stability
  • Identifies and resolves hardware/software problems on Cisco switches, routers, or ASA equipment
  • Assist in setting up deployment and automation
  • Execute automated tests

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university;
  • In lieu of a degree, two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issue
  • Experience administering Microsoft operating systems and applications including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016
  • Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution
  • Knowledge of Cisco equipment including various switch models, firewalls and wireless equipment
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, security best practices, networking technologies
  • CompTIA,CCNA, or CCNP a plus.
