Desired Skills and Experience

  • Make configuration changes, as needed for various projects.
  • Resolve assigned tickets and serves as secondary contact for escalated tickets.
  • Conduct peer reviews and pairing work with other Engineers.
  • Conduct implementation testing.
  • Create and document change controls and proceeds to implement these changes.  
  • Manages other relevant projects as assigned. 
  • 3 years of Linux administration (CentOS preferred).  
  • Reliable and pays strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in configuration management tools (puppet preferred), scripting languages (e.g., bash, perl, python), and source control management tools(e.g., git).
  • Proficient with Networking (juniper and f5 preferred).
  • Must be able to participate in an On-Call Rotation.
  • Software-as-a-service industry experience is preferred.
  • Security knowledge or focus is preferred.
