- This role is part of the expansion of our Operations team, reporting to Operations Manager.
- You will be responsible for maintaining TravelportDigital’s development, pre-production and production environments, and all associated systems and processes.
- It’s a fast paced role, offering a great blend of technical and continual innovation to drive systems improvements.
- You will be a part of a team promoting a DevOps culture
- Our infrastructure is delivered with Amazon AWS across multiple regions
- Working closely with our development teams to manage Travelport Digital’s dynamic environments , using a variety of open source technologies
- Technically assess and review request for new resources from Travelport Digital’s development team, making independent judgments as to its suitability (e.g. scalability, security, reliability, increased efficiency, fit in with existing systems etc.)
- Establishing new processes and systems to facilitate transition of code to our production environments (e.g. managing large development projects at varying stages)
- Minimum 3+ years working in an Operations Team
- Provide technical and organizational leadership to engineers and technicians for production support, process troubleshooting and process improvement
- Excellent on Network administration experience
- Excellent Linux Administration experience
- Experience with managing large scale distributed systems and task automation.
- Experience in a highly available and highly secure environment.
- Proficient in a scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
