Desired Skills and Experience

  • Serve as Sr. Technical Resource for all Windows and Messaging operational activities and projects;
  • Independently lead the complete lifecycle for system engineering;
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support for your supported systems, including leveraging technical tools to analyse issues;
  • Represent your technical area and IT on cross-functional enhancements and projects, including the coordination and resolution of appropriate issues;
  • Perform technical/code reviews;
  • Act as a mentor to the Associate and staff Technical Contributors within the IT group;
  • Windows Server knowledge – You would class yourself as an expert in this field, and can demonstrate your extensive capabilities in this area;
  • Automation skills – with good working knowledge of Powershell or other automation tools;
  • Technical knowledge -  Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Skype for Business;
  • Networking – Network knowledge of TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, what they mean and their practical uses;
  • Experience providing direction for multiple projects;
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills;
  • Ability to produce high quality technical documentation;
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks;
  • Team oriented with a demonstrable understanding of customer service and support;
  • Drive, passion and a commitment to service excellence;
  • Determination and ability to learn modern technologies;
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE or MCITP advantageous;
  • Experience of the IT Security industry;
