Desired Skills and Experience
- Partner with development and infrastructure to design and build highly available and scalable software solutions
- Deploy, monitor, and administer apps and underlying services to production and staging environments
- Improve the performance of our platform applications and solve scaling issues
- Build tools and automation that eliminate repetitive tasks
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all areas of responsibility.
- Level 3 platform troubleshooting and support
- At least 5 years of experience in software development environment and SDLC.
- Strong experience with Jboss, RabbitMQ, Servicemix, Weblogic or other Java EE server
- Strong experience in configuration management tools like Salt or Ansible
- A working understanding of code and ability to script in at least one of these languages (Bash, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
- Experience in Continuous Delivery Tools like Rundeck, Continuous integration tools like Maven Jenkins is required
- Strong exposure to JVM tuning is required
- Must have experience with monitoring tools, such as Appdynamics, Solar winds
- Strong Background in Linux Administration
- Container experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Exposure to Elastic search is a plus.
- Experience with document management tool like Oracle WebCenter, JackRabbit
- Ability to write simple SQL statements for troubleshooting purposes
